In 2019, designer Renata Rubim launched, in partnership with Tapetah Tapetes Artesanais, the SAMBA rug.
Anyone who follows the trajectory of the surface designer knows that the passion for rugs has a long history: At the age of 4, still in kindergarten, her drawings represented models full of color and personality. The childhood “tapetinhos” were a surprise in the life of Renata, who discovered the drawings when she had been working in the area for years.
The model created for Tapetah was launched at the beginning of the year at the fair ABIMAD (SP) and has a design full of rhythm and sinuosity. This is the samba rug: cheerful, original and full of nuances.
